Brief description of the position:The Function cluster owner for Powertrain SW is responsible to define and develop functions in the main function cluster (System) within the powertrain by design the main function according to requirements. This role involves overseeing the creation of powertrain functionalities and alignment with involved Interfaces ensuring it meets both regulatory requirements and customer expectation.Key Tasks:Lead the design, development and validation of the Powertrain system, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with other powertrain components.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware, software and systems engineering to deliver powertrain solutions.Develop and manage project timelines, milestones, and deliverables related to the powertrain. Track the Feature development in order to fulfill time and quality.Coordinate to create detailed technical documentation and reports related to the powertrain, including design specifications and testing results.Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to powertrain systemsFoster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team.Be responsible for supervision and coordination of vendor-development work and benchmarking of competitor products especially for system, sub-component and function level.Interact and align with interface partners within the powertrain.Formulate and coordinate the creation of a FDS.Be responsible for know-how exchange of function development process with WOB.

Qualification and skills:Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.5+ year working experience in powertrain system function development area.Proven experience in powertrain systems engineering, with a strong focus Ｏn powertrain development and integration.Familiar with KPM and failure analysis.Certificate with EFffT, EFK .Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.Good communication and project management skills.Familiarity with automotive industry standards and regulations.Experience with electric or hybrid powertrains is advantageous.
